In this video Sydni is 13 months old. She was just starting to get the hang of walking. Also, when we say 'I love you' she has learned to say 'I do'. Before she could talk I would always say 'I love you... I do.' and she picked up the 'I do'. She was a very timid new walker, but she got it and now she is all over the place. She loves going for walks up and down our street (weather permitting...) and taking me all over the house.

This one goes out to our homies!
The cats. They are phenomenal. Every time I want to strangle them for scratching at Sydni's door and waking her up at 5:00am I just look at these images and try calm my wrath.

And there's nothing we love more that relaxing in the morning with kids shows and a good dose of some feline company. Sydni's not quite awake in this picture. If I could talk her into sleeping in I would... I miss sleeping in. I can't wait until the kids are older and all they want to do is sleep. Got a ways to go on that one. All of you morning people out there be grateful! This world does NOT cater to the night owls!
The ever-growing friendship between these two is a constant source of entertainment to me. In this video Sydni is around 1year. Titus tries to give her a little warning bite on the head, but don't worry, I put him back in his place... Off camera of course, so as to not post evidence of the abuse. Since then she has learned to give hugs and kisses and throughout the day she'll randomly stop doing what ever it is she's doing and bee-line it for one of the cats to give them a kiss and a snuggle.
In the video that I've posted below Sydni has her beloved Pirate flag. Jacob's mom had gotten it for her at the fair months before and it's become one of her favorite toys. She loves to wave it and play tug of war with the kitties. Bently is just as patient and loving with her as Titus, but Titus has a very unique loyalty to the little squirrel (Sydni).
These pictures of Sydni and Bently were taken a little more recently. She is literally on top of the cat watching TV. I caught her attention with the camera, but before that they were just chillin.

It's been a long time.
Well, I haven't updated this in a while, in fact this is the first time I've checked this site in months. Even I can't believe how much Sydni has changed since the last post in August. All I can do now is get to work on posting about everything that's happened in the last seven months! Well start with this:

We didn't really do anything for Halloween, just went out to dinner at Red Robin because I thought it would be fun for Sydni to see other kids dressing up and having fun. Our server was a pirate and Sydni was a little confused but she thought he was pretty cool. Then again, he did sweeten the deal with a balloon.
